Want to help plan RISE events? RISE is always looking for excited individuals interested in planning and facilitating our vital fundraisers.

The Friends of RISE is an auxiliary fundraising committee that was a part of the former North County Women’s Shelter & Resource Center in Paso Robles, CA. Comprised of past board members, current board members, and philanthropic members of the community, Friends organizes and presents both the Annual Gala, as well as the McPhee’s Dinner, both fundraisers for the agency. The Friends are a very important asset to RISE, as they raise the mandatory matching funds required by many funders.

If you would like to make a difference in the community by volunteering your time and expertise as a member of Friends, please email the RISE business office.

RISE is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that provides crisis intervention and treatment services to survivors of sexual and intimate partner violence and their loved ones. All crisis services are available in Spanish and English. All staff members are mandated reporters and have an obligation to report under the following circumstances: reports of abuse or neglect to minors, dependent adults, elders, as well as if a client is in danger of hurting themself or others.
